I am pleased that you have shown an interest in Hallam
School. I hope you will find this information useful and that if you
have not yet made a visit to the school you will feel welcome to
do so.

I have been Head teacher on this site since 1986 and in that
time have come to know many families in the area very well. Theyknow that they can count on my support and that I am committed to the provision of an excellent foundation for the development of all pupils. Indeed, it has been a great pleasure to see many of my earlier Hallam infants now doing well at university.

You will find at Hallam School a strong sense of team spirit
amongst staff who work closely with parents to develop a stimulating, happy learning environment where children can achieve their very best.

To apply for entry you should obtain the appropriate form
from the school office and complete it and return it there.
Admission to the reception class is normally in September or
January depending on the child’s birthday. (September for those
born 1st September to 28th February, and January for those born 1st March to 21st August).

Choosing a school can be a difficult decision for parents and
